Rioting outside Luthuli house....

First impressions and thoughts. Is this the time the A.N.C finally has to distance itself from outdated
"revolutionary" and populist politics ? Is this the start of the end for the alliance ? Is this the day these types of people get the message that causing chaos is not a valid way to get what you want in this ? Is this the day we kiss goodbye A.N.C political solidarity based on skin colour ?

Interesting times. I am loving the rhetoric coming from the A.N.C about how this is unacceptable and how the youth league leadership must take responsibility for this. I think Malema might get more than a slap on the wrist this time.

Update : Malema came out like a whimpering puppy saying all the right things. So maybe we won't get the scrap I was hoping for.

Are you serious ? The A.N.C are putting the beat down on the radicals. This is the best news in ages. Everyone here is loving it.

If Zuma manages to kick Malema out of the ANCYL - and that's a big "if" - then Zuma and all his corrupt cronies will run for a second term. What's needed is a revolution against the ANC itself.
