A 26-year-old woman was struck in the face with a glass when she became the unintended target of an incident in Leederville.

Police said the woman had been at the hotel in Leederville about 10.15pm on Saturday, October 24 when she was hit in the head by the glass, suffering a 2-3cm cut to her forehead.

It is understood the glass was thrown at a man standing nearby by another woman but missed its target.
Police hope CCTV footage of the female offender may help bring forward witnesses.
